Hydro Shield Natural Stone Sealer
Hydro Shield is a premium penetrating sealer designed to protect dense natural stone, concrete, and masonry surfaces without changing their natural appearance. Its advanced silicate-siliconate technology penetrates deep into the substrate to create an invisible, long-lasting barrier against water intrusion, UV exposure, and everyday staining. Unlike film-forming coatings, Hydro Shield protects from within while allowing the surface to breathe naturally, helping preserve vapor permeability, texture, and the original look of the material.
Preparation
Step 1Pressure Clean:
Surfaces must be clean, dry, sound, and free of dirt, dust, grease, oil, wax, soap film, rust, mold, mildew, curing compounds, and other contaminants. For best results, pressure wash at 2500 PSI or greater.
Step 2Application:
Hydro Shield Natural is ready to use—no mixing or dilution required. Apply to a clean, dry surface by brush, roller, or low-pressure sprayer, keeping the surface wet for 2–3 minutes. Saturation is reached when the surface begins to reject additional material rather than absorb it. Remove all excess within 15–20 minutes. Additional coats may be applied as needed. Allow 6 hours before foot traffic and 48 hours before vehicular traffic.
Step 3Dry Time & Cure Time:
Hydro Shield Natural is dry to the touch in approximately 2 hours and may be returned to service after 12 hours under normal drying conditions. Lower temperatures and higher humidity may extend dry times.
