Description
Protread Floor Paint
Protread is a high-performance, single-component waterborne floor and driveway coating engineered for professional-grade results. Its advanced one-coat formula cures to a tough, satin-finish protective barrier and uses crosslinking technology to deliver excellent adhesion across a wide range of substrates, including previously coated surfaces. Protread is designed to resist hot-tire pickup, vehicle and foot traffic, dirt buildup, weather exposure, and everyday wear for long-lasting performance. Available in nine premium stock colors for fast, convenient application.
Preparation
Step 1Pressure Clean:
Surfaces must be clean, dry, sound, and free of dirt, dust, grease, oil, wax, soap film, rust, mold, mildew, curing compounds, and other contaminants. For best results, pressure wash at 2500 PSI or greater. Previously Painted Surfaces: Remove all loose, peeling, or chipped paint. Protread may be applied over firmly bonded coatings after thoroughly cleaning the surface.
Step 2Application:
Apply with a brush, medium nap roller, or airless spray. Recommended tip size .013 to .017.
Step 3Dry Time & Cure Time:
Most applications are dry to touch in two (2) hours @ 77 degrees Fahrenheit and 50% relative humidity. Ready for foot traffic in two (2) hours and vehicle traffic in seventy-two (72) hours. Ready for a re-coat in four (4) hours. Low temperature, high humidity, thick films, or poor ventilation will increase these dry times.
